Although "Shadows of the Dead" is better than "Neverknock" (2017), it suffers from a similar feeling of "Meh." Something needed added to perk the movie out of its prosaic goings-on. Some of it works, though, and I appreciated the positives despite my tedium. The climax is totally predictable though.
Directed by Carl Lindbergh. With Jonathan Flanigan, Beverly Hynds, Fred Dekom, Jason Schwartz. A woodland holiday turns into a hellish trip for a couple who discover a dead body among the branches. However, it transpires that the body is far from dead, and the couple are suddenly infected by a body-ravaging disease.

Shadows of the Dead is obviously produced on the cheap, the costumes and make up are not exactly top notch, however I think they get to job done. All in all I am very pleased with this film. I am a huge zombie fan and Shadows of the Dead bring something new to a genre which is often rather stale.
